У меня была проблема с LyX, которую так и не смог отловить -
на домашнем компе при просмотре в dvi и ps не отображались нижние
и верхние индексы в формулах, например, a^2. При этом шла ругань
на шрифт cmr7.
На работе всё отображалось.
Версии установленных LyX, шрифтов, и tetex-* сравнивал,
вылечилось apt-get remove lyx tetex* и последующей установкой
заново. apt-get --reinstall не помогал.
PS LyX с интерфейсом gtk+2 будет?
