Добрый день!
Вот возникла идея организовать игровой городской сервер под linux'ом. клиенты подключаться будут по модемам 33600
Возможна ли реализация этой идеи c помощью ALTLinux Master 2.0?
Аппаратное обеспечение сервера:
CPU Celeron 950
HDD 20GB
ROM 256MB
Video S3 4MB
Modem 10x33600 ext CyberBullet 56K
Хотелось бы услышать мнение практиков, кто уже имеет опыт организации такого серврера и специалистов по linux, какое ПО нужно установить для такой задачи, как запускать серверные версии windows-based игр под linux. Дело для меня новое, незнакомое, поэтому буду рад любой помощи. Какие игры можно ставить, чтобы они стабильно и надежно работали?
