Чтобы не собирать чистое ядро с патчем для win4lin,
можно поставить ядро от другого дистрибутива, для которого
есть патч. Я, например, поставил на Junior2.0 ядро от
Mandrake9.0. Вроде все ок.
И еще.
Заходим в гугл. Пишем: win4lin установка
Первая же ссылочка http://murphy.pp.ru/docs/Win4Lin.
И в разделе download на этом сайте есть все что нужно
даже для Win4Lin 4-й версии.

А как ты поставил новое ядро? Просто скопировал
в boot ядро?

Все есть, да не подходит самое основное - license.lic

Ядро ставил из rpm, наплевав на зависимости.
Это конечно не правильно, но всё работает, пока что.
На modules dependence ругается при загрузке. Недосуг всё разобраться.
Наверное modutils надо еще от мандрейка поставить.
