А вот тут совет на будущее: перед установкой новой версии
архивировать каталог /etc и сохранять -- может пригодиться.

Не обязательно это должен быть принтер lexmark. PCL достаточно
хорошо стандартизирован и это может быть принтер от любого
производителя. Я бы попробовал для начала HP LaserJet 1200 в PCL
режиме.
