проблема: решил установить консольный диалер wvdial. чтобы он работал нужно
сконфигить для него wvdial.conf, а для этого - запустить wvdialconf, который
в первую очередь пытаеца найти модем. у меня модем стоит в ttyS1 и корректно
там работает, но при запуске wvdialconf он мне гадко ругаеца:
ttyS1<Info>: device or resource busy
Port Scan<*1>: S1
и не хочет находить мой модем... хелп ми плиз!

Устраняется запуском того же самого, но рутом. Я его (wvdial) так и не научил не только конфигУриться но и соединение под обычным пользователем устанавливать. Только
& su -c "wvdial"
Иначе выдает девайс бизи. Абыдна, потому что прога неплохая (особенно, если у нее все "интеллектуальные" фичи поотрубать - чтоб сразу ррр при дозвоне поднимала, Stupid Mode, кажется так называется :))
