Подскажите плиз как сделать вывод лога от iptables (то что логируется
по -j LOG) в файл, отличный от /var/log/messages?

Это сообщения ядра, проходящие через klogd/syslogd; единственное, что
приходит в голову - поставить syslog-ng и фильтровать его средствами.

Ага, syslog-ng стоит. Бум разбираться . :-))
А может кто уже делал нечто подобное и может поделиться советом. :-)
