Нет ли здесь каких подводных камней или интересных моментов?

cvs diff нечто.png
гораздо более непонятно многословен, чем
cvs diff нечто.cpp

А как типа эта... каталог сделать? Симлинком? Или отдельно хранить?
ln -sf . dotfiles
cd dotfiles
cvs import at/dotfiles at start
?
