Для pctel'а надо патчить его ./configure (на предмет правильного парсенья
версии ядер). Я смотрел на этот драйвер и он мне не понравился. У меня
есть сильное подозрение, что вместо pctel Вам может подойти драйвер slmdm
(http://www.smlink.com) или другой (поищите на linmodems.org).
