$ sudo cat /etc/squid/squid.conf | grep -B 100 ^cache_dir

# cache_dir ufs Directory-Name Mbytes L1 L2 [options]

8 метров на кеш? Или я чего-то не понял. Так точно не хватит. У меня в
похожей системе стоит так:
cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 2048 32 512
По умолчанию так:
cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 100 16 256
Еще раз: чем не устраивают 100 метров?
