     Я уже писАл (летом), что после установки Мастера, у меня перестали
писаться диски на
scsibus0:
         0,0,0     0) 'SAMSUNG ' 'COMBO SM-304B   ' 'BS02' Removable CD-ROM
    Потом у меня был ряд серьёных заморочек, и я вернулся к этому вопросу
только сейчас.
Но предварительно исполнил один из набора данных (Vitali Lipatov) мне
советов, а именно:
1. в /etc/lilo.conf модифицировал:

append=" fbprogress=/dev/tty10 hdc=ide-scsi"

2. в /etc/modules.conf - закомментировал всё, что относится к scsi

Ну ест-нно - запуск lilo, и перезагрузка (уже раз 5-7 перезагрузился с
лета-то :).

     Все едино не пишет, сообщая:

Вызывает, конечно, подозрение сообщение насчёт irq.
     Но ведь при всём этом - в качестве "обычного", читающего CD-ROM-а
дисковвод вполне работоспособен.

Так может кто-то подсказать - куда ещё копать?
Повторю - в Spring-е то всё работало вполне нормально.
И в Виндах работает.

Да, ещё я переустановил (пересобрав у себя на машине) cdrtools из 
Сизифа, так что у меня сейчас стоит cdrecord-1.11-alt0.9a40
Всё едино без толку.

Дополнительно должен сказать - в messages нет никаких сообщений насчёт 
ненахождения block-major в messages не обнаруживается.
Насчёт char-major (номера 81, 97, 226) такого рода сообщения имеются, но 
ведь вряд-ли это может иметь отношение.
