На dialout машине запущены: postfix, fetchmail, pop3. Один интерфейс ppp-on-demand. Т.е. когда постфиксу надо отправить письмо или fetchmail-у забрать то соединяется. Машина стоит default gateway-ем. Dns прописан провайдера, для этой машины и для всех остальных подключенных к ней по локалке.
Эффект следующий: когда клиенты обращаются по pop3 или заходишь по ssh-у, то идет попытка lookup-а в reverse зоне, т.е. 100.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa например, и как следствие пытается дозвониться.
Вопрос: зачем это делается и как отключить?
