Если брать абстрактно, то всё неплохо. Если взять АЛМ2 - то
посмотрите архив рассылки - там всё есть :-( Могу и ошибаться,
но мне вообще не удалось взгромоздить АЛМ2 на HPT контроллер
(ктото тоже получил и с Promise). С РХ и иже - всё нормально.
Есть неплохие карты от 3Ware, как говорили в Сизиф-рассылке стоят
около $200 - при наличии средств, действительно хороший выбор. К
томуже несложно запускаются под АЛМ
