У меня их не много, статистики никакой (тфу-тьфу-тьфу :-)), 4
штуки дома, MPG3409AH, 4 на работе - по ним отказов "0"

Какая нафиг статистика по броску? замер должен быть: у меня он
весьма конкретен, у фуджиков не выдержан параметр по потреблению
пуска, не соответствует их данным.

Тоже ниодного не вылетело На данной машине их пара, уже лет....
несколько :-) пашут :-)

А я вот додумался ставлю на HPT374 8xMPG3409AH - глючит, оставляю
4х - глючит, оставляю 2х - глючит, меняю винты на Lct10+Lct20 -
глючит, ставлю два макстора - глючит, меняю биос (2.39 на 2.43)
- максторы пошли без глюков, ставлю 8xMPG3409AH - нет проблем...
Или в этом случае может напроситься иной вывод, нежели "дело не в
винтах"?
