Вполне  мирно уживаются konqueror и mc. А десктоп-менеджер имхо там и не 
нужен.

apt-get install idesk dfm
И пользуйтесь.
dfm - файловый менеджер и\или иконки на "рабочем столе"
idesk - только иконки

Здраствуйте community

Поставил winemu.
Настроил. Но при команде wine exe.exe или wine -dbgmsg exe.exe ничего не 
открывает(процесс запускается,но ничего нет).  :( 
Что это может быть? 
У кого есть опыт работы с эмулятоом, помогите плиз.

The Only Right Filemanager(tm) для WindowMaker - это GWorkspace.
Но в сизифе его пока нет, возможно появится после выхода
gnustep-gui >= 0.9.0...

Все остальное к сожаление не очень вписывается *Step
environment... Разве что Offix собраный с libneXtaw, но у него
глобальные проблемы с русским...

P.S. The Only - это применительно только для WindowMaker. В
других WM - более другие FM ;-)

Я когда возился с WM понял что Офикс уже присутствует в сборке АЛТ,
только его не вынесли в отдельное приложение. Или я ошибся?

А кто-нибудь пытался собирать его (GWorkspace)? Что-то он не хочет
собираться. Если не сложно , в приват поделитесь, please/

Хм... Насколько я знаю - нет. Offix drag-n-drop протокол
действительно поддерживается некоторой пачкой программ, но
Offix utilites в ALT нет.

Для начала надо собрать GNUstep... Желательно - последний cvs
снапшот...

P.S. Я позавчера проапдейтил домашнего сизифа, так что теперь
опять буду его мучать...
