nt отказывается качать файлы с фтп-сайтов :(( может надо что-то в установках
поменять??? пока мои опыты к успеху не привели... Стоит скормить ссылку
конкуеррору дык тот без проблем качаетс с фтп...

не кактит. говорит, что слишком много пользователей... но конкуеррор нормально

Значит, слишком много пользователей. А может, konqueror качает с
фтп-шника по http-протоколу? Это легко. Например, у сервера два
DNS-имени: www и ftp, а корень общий. Очередное направление
раскопок, ИМХО, дано.
P.S. А что это за сервер? ftp.chg.ru? Так он пожизненно
перегружен.
