Собственно с самим девайсом, Creative Audigy Platinum, проблем
нет - но вот есть у него такая мерзкоприятная :-) панелька на
лице у компа пристраивается - там кнопочки регуляторы гнёзда для
подключения, и прочая дребедень... Вот вопрос - как заставить
всю эту ерунду работать, включая ПДУ (точнее - особенно его
:-))?

См. пакет emu10k1-tools, содержимое /usr/bin/emu-script и
/etc/emu10k1.conf. В последнем файле, в самом конце есть
настройки для той самой "панельки".

Я как-то пытался все это дело завести, но до конца так и
не довел ...
