Дело его живёт, остатки Blender-a раскиданы по частным сайтам.
Например, здесь можно скачать одну из последних версий:

Кстат никто не подскажет какой есть софт (3d modeling) в ценовой категории до 1000 баксов под Линукс?
Nurbs modeller houdiny знаю. Больше ничего путного не нашел....Опять же, если бы портанули Rinoceros3d было бы супер.
