Привет всем!
Где-то мне попадалась информация, что ReiserFS не нуждается в
дефрагментации. Где можно почитать об этом подробнее, и что в этом
случае делает команда
reiserfsck --rebuild-tree
?

Примерно тоже, что и rpm --rebuilddb -- перестраивает
вторичную, типа индексной, информацию. По идее, в нормальной работе
это не требуется, потому что расхождения возникают при сбое,
каковых при журналировании быть не должно.
(Вот не знаю, а лезу :)
