Для SCSI-дисков иногда помогает проверка поверхности утилитами
BIOS SCSI-контроллера (у Adaptec такое есть, у других - не
знаю). При этом диск может сам сделать переназначение этого
сектора (естественно, с потерей данных, которые там были). Как
поведет себя после этого reiserfs - не знаю, как минимум надо
прогнать reiserfsck.
