Из под icewm делаем Ctrl+Ald+Del - в менюшке выбираем Reboot, по которому выполняется команда sudo reboot.
После чего машина быстро перезагружается. Диски не отмонтируются, сервисы по нормальному не стопятся.
Если то же самое сказать из терминала, то reboot отрабатывает нормально. В чем разница я не понимаю хоть убейте....
