в режиме раида поставить инсталлятором вряд ли получится.
там ядро 2.2 и выпущен он в те времена, когда раиды на иде еще не поддерживались.
есть вариант получше.
взять бету мастера и попробовать с нее.
там ядро 2.4 и все драйвера прямо в инсталляторе.
есть вариант еще лучше
загрузится с другой системы или взять винтик временно и поставить туда юниора с догоном из сизифа
разметить и поднять атараид
скопировать систему на него и исправить /etc/fstab и /etc/lilo.conf
все должно работать.
