проектирую структуру базы и хотел бы узнать, как в постгресс насчет обработки XML?
есть ли в нем парсер типа expat?
можно ли обрабатывать в хранимых процедурах поля , закатанные в xml?
примерно вот так.
табличка фирма:
id - идентификатор
body - весь набор полей фирмы в xml
допустим вот запись :
1
<xml version=1.0 ...>
<id>1</id>
<name> ООО Вася</name>
<long_name> Общество с ограниченной ответственностью "Василий и сыновья"</long_name>
...
есть ли в постгресс средства, чтобы к примеру реализовать сортировку по полю name
или вытащить и вернуть свойство long_name, зная id?
Или все, что участвует в сортировках, отборах и всем таком необходимо вытаскивать в отдельные поля?
