IMHO, не стоит выкаблучиваться и предлагать что-то иное, чем bash.
Меньше будет проблем и просьб о помощи.
Конечно, если среди нас есть zsh wizard, он может позаботиться о
создании хорошего начального профиля для zsh.

Всякий навороченный completion considered harmful by me :)
Чем меньше неочевидных эффектов, тем лучше. В bash из коробки
всё дополняется более-менее очевидно и однозначно.
