Еще смотря чем PDF делался. Я так понимаю, что если LaTeX, то
ничего и не должно искаться, так как у LaTeX'а своя личная и
неповторимая кодировка. А в PDF-ке написано, где взять шрифт и на
каком месте какую по счету закорючку из него поставить. Какой тут
может быть поиск? Если я ошибаюсь, поправьте меня.
