У меня Radeon VE, купил недавно за 74USD,
за то что она ATI и поддерживается (надоели глюки коммерческого
NVidia на моём VIA-чипсете) XFree сразу.
Проблем с 3D нет, кроме одной :) в драйверах под Linux не всё реализовано
аппаратно, некоторые операции пока делаются программно через Mesa
и потому несколько медленно (колёса gears 300 оборотов всего делают
в исходном окне).
Под Win сравнивал с моей предыдущей TNT2 - скорость одинаковая по
всем тестам, кроме AGP (Radeon в два раза быстрее получился в передаче
по шине, потому что с TNT2 были проблемы с AGP4x)
