Здравствуйте,
С виртуальными хостами я разобрался, осталось сделать
Script alias.
Пишу вот такую вещь: ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /var/www/html/chemsell/cgi/
-- ни фига не работает. У меня там на сайте куча конструкций типа
<!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/newsarc.pl"-->

Проверьте права доступа для файлов и вышележащих каталогов.

Не работает:
- скрипты как класс?
- SSI?
SSI может не работать по причине отключенности в apache по умолчанию.
Скорее всего Вам нужны строчки в httpd.conf:
AddType text/html .shtml # as you wish
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml
и опция в Вашей директории +Includes.
Посмотрел httpd.conf.default - все это закомментировано\отсутствует.
Может открыть? Все-таки shtml - стандарт de facto для страниц с SSI.
Кстати, Sylpheed занятно цитирует это письмо =)
