Что бы значило это безобразие?
/var/log/kernel/warnings :
Jan 28 04:23:48 stinger kernel: probable hardware bug: clock timer configuration lost - probably a VIA686a.
Jan 28 04:23:48 stinger kernel: probable hardware bug: restoring chip configuration.
Возникает иногда, после перезагрузки системы обычно пропадает,
потом после n-ой (n=[1..3]) перезагрузки случайным образом
появляется вновь. Очень разражает, т.к. ежели присутствует,
то уж заполняет за короткое время весь активный tty 8-(
Каких либо проблем в работе не ощущается.

m/board - Gigabyte GA-5AA, ALi Alladin V chipset
proc - AMD K6-2+
netcards - Realtek 8139C, 3Com 509B-TPO
hdd - IBM DTLA 15 7200

Бага в ядре, касающаяся таймера.

Насколько я знаю, в 2.4.х это зафиксено. Либо можно пропатчить 2.2, чтобы
эта ругань не плевалась на экран.
