ext2 не может быть сетевой.
Сетевые - выбирайте из:
smbfs (симлинков нет)
nfs (тут есть симлинки)
coda (тоже есть)
ncpfs (Novell, симлинков нет)
ftpfs (экспериментальная, ограничения жуткие, в
Alt-овские сборки не входит)
