Начиная с ядер 2.2.х схему c modprobe ipip; modprobe new_tunnell
изжили, похоже, о чем партизански молчат. Вместо этого есть гораздо
более мощные механизмы iproute2, вся необходимая документация есть
в /usr/share/doc/iproute2-*, после установки, с.с.р.
Эти механизмы также описаны в том Adv. Routing HOWTO. Хотя
документации пакета должно хватить.
Мое ядро - 2.4.17-alt1, а это хозяйство работает на 2.2.х и 2.4.х
Для 2.0.х нужны эти злосчастные модули, но там уж они должны быть.
