Hello!
Вопросов несколько:
1) есть ли клиенты, которые могли бы использовать прокси вроде delegate, как icq?
2) есть ли консольные клиенты вплоть до подобия echo "Hello!" | smbclient -M HOST?
3) как лучше администрировать сервер - количество конференций, количество подключений?

Под вин - да, работают. Под linux - gabber через socksify
тормозил, сделал маскарадинг, потом отключил за ненадобностью,
свой сервер намного удобнее.

Консольные есть, про подобие не смотрел:
