Потому что я, видимо из-за природной лени, а может из-за чрезмерной
осторожности так и не привык к apt. Никак. И обновляюсь из локального
репозитария (читай - свалки ;) пакетов rpm'ом - нет дома сетки, пока,
а когда и будет - 2 рубля за метр, разорюсь скачивать. Так потихоньку
и присосался к сизифу на работе, и таскаю пакеты домой на переносном
винче, где-то раз в неделю.

Нет. Работает - не трогай, таков был мой девиз, пока не связался с
обновлением evolution. И потому обновлял только то, что было _необходимо_
обновить, поскольку не работало, либо для рабочих экспериментов. Свято
соблюдал зависимости - в этом не было ни одной уступки, кроме драйверов
nvidia. Даже kde снес, так как обновить целиком не смог, а кому-то он
старый мешал. Не помню уже. Хотя _очень_ тяжело без риверси, считай, самая
полезная программа в kde ;))))
