Ну, если для себя, можно почитать Advocacy-HOWTO. Если для
начальства -- им в плане "почитать, что это _оно_" или более
прикладное что надо? Вообще, может, лучше каких linux desktop
success stories нарыть?

Полчаса искал оченно интересную статью консультанта -- real life
миграция на линукс (vs win2000), не нашел :( Но, в общем, такие
вещи часто пробегают по LWN (http://lwn.net).
