В QoS-connection-tuning-HOWTO (*) прозвучала интересная (и
задетая уже мною в домашних баловствах) тема.  Только вот в
процессе чтения и проверки "на лету" возник маленький вопрос по
следующему фрагменту (-3.html):

Go into the iptables source directory and "make patch-o-matic".
You will be prompted with a list of kernel patches, the one we
are interested in is the "length match".

After patching, configure your kernel, including:

Networking options  --->
Network packet filtering (replaces ipchains)
    IP: Netfilter Configuration  --->
IP tables support (required for filtering/masq/NAT)
        LENGTH match support
        ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
        MARK target support
QoS and/or fair queueing  --->
CBQ packet scheduler

Кто как прокомментирует отчеркнутое?  Интерес не теоретический,
возможно, на следующей неделе придется заняться плотнее.
