Здесь эта тема проскакивала два раза, и я советовал обратиться к kppp guide.
Мне кажется, что я не ошибся. Правда, ответ находился совсем не в том месте,
что я имел в виду:
Windows? NT RAS callback
Windows? NT uses a completely different approach than the one described
above. NT requires an extension to the PPP protocol itself, called CBCP (Call
Back Control Protocol). pppd has support for this protocol, but you must
recompile pppd. If anybody has experience with successfully connecting to an
NT callback server, please let us know.

У меня есть острое подозрение, что у ROL именно NT серверы.
