Кажется, это -- USB, хотя не поручусь. Утверждается, что данный
софт позволяет использовать под Линукс эти сканеры столь же
эффективно, как и под вин. Вроде ещё HP собирались поддерживать
свои сканеры под Линукс, но точно не скажу. Ссылочки вот ещё
