Зашел на сайт автора драйвера для usb сканеров -
http://www1.jump.net/~dnelson/linux/usb/
Скачал оттуда последнюю версию (0.4.7). В ядре 2.4.15 версия 0.4.6 - в следующем ядре я соберу новую версию... Можно попробовать написать этому перцу багрепорт. А пока лучше подождать 2.4.17, куда я включу последний драйвер и проверить его.
