Покажи что /sbin/ksyms -a|grep init_etherdev говорит.
Ядро сам компилил? cat /usr/src/linux/.config|grep MODVERSIONS что говорит?
Драйвер сам компилил? Если сам, что там на счет MODVERSIONS было?
