Вроде бы сейчас нормально стало.
На сейчас имеющемся серваке стоит Adaptec SCSI Card 19160 и два винта IBM.
На каждом винте трансфер данных по 35М/сек, что соответствует заявленной скорости у этих моделей винтов на сайте IBM.
