Здравствуйте,
Поставил поиграться qmail, понравилось. Хорошая вещь, шустрый,
есть у меня один сервер на слабом железе, наверное стоит заменить
там postfix на qmail. Но насколько кривая лицензия и размещение
файлов, противоречащее FHS! Плюс к этому предлагается еще поставить
tcpserver вместо xinetd (inetd), и пакет daemontools для управления
демоном qmail -- стартовый скрипт для /etc/rc.d/init.d есть, но он
использует этот daemontools на полную катушку.
Посему есть 2 вопроса:
1) Если бы у этих продуктов была нормальная лицензия, вошли бы они в
дистрибутив? Автор все-таки заявляет, что и qmail и tcpserver круче
postfix с xinetd.
2) Кто-нибудь собирал rpm'ку qmail'a соответствующую дистрибутивам
ALT Linux? Я, может сам возьмусь - дел, по большому счету -
устанавливаться в нормальные места, использовать xinetd, управляться
через service qmail start|stop|status|etc.
