Можно развернуть SMS-сервер (System Menagement server) на виндовом
серваке(он еще захочет MS-SQL сервер :) Настроить(достаточно долгое
занятие). Если сеть с доменами, то на NT- клиент сам устанавливается, на
9X в ручную. Далее все зависит от настроек сервера SMS, какие агенты
активизированы. Из полезных агентов перечилю следующие: hardware, software
(производят инвенторизацию и отсылают на SMS сервер, который все это дело
хранит в SQL базе), а также клиент распространения ПО (на серваке выкладываешь
Service pack1 и говоришь "распространить, а у клиентов в трее появляется значек,
что есть новое ПО) Вроде можно ставить ПО и без ведома юзера(точно не знаю).
Еще интегрирована система удаленного управления+чат+....(правда тормозная)
Я щас пока нахожусь в процессе изучения.
