Имею в хозяйстве 5 шт. квантумов ST(3.2Gb) , EX(6.4Gb) -2 шт. , CX(20Gb) и
AS(30Gb) - все пашут круглосуточно.
Когда заболел самый старый квантум ST, удалось его вылечить только с помощью
HDDutils, живут здесь: http://members.xoom.com/hddutility - программа под
винды, заточена под квантумы, но ограниченно обслуживает и другие винты. Не
заменима для пожилых винтов с забитым под завязку Grown Defect List.

Проверьте кабель питания. У меня так было, у винчестера изредка на ходу
пропадало электропитание из-за дефектной вилки.
