Не устаю повторять: перед тем, как запускать
apt-get (upgrade|dist-upgrade), НЕ ЗАБУДЬТЕ обновить apt путем
apt-get install apt.
Это снимет большинство проблем с массовыми обновлениями,
в т.ч. и ставшую знаменитой проблему readline.
