Тут дело тёмное...
Например, G400, при отображении 2D в 24 бита делает 3D
в 32 бита...
А то, что 32 быстрее - это не совсем верно, сие
различается в зависимости от адаптера и евойного
процессора.

Ничего оно не темное. На самом деле никаких 32 бит
реально не существует. Реально там все равно 24 бита,
а еще к ним присовокуплены 8 пустых бит.
Их якобы можно использовать для каких-то специфических потребностей.
А отсюда и "... делает 3D в 32 бита".

Не всегда "якобы".

Имеется в виду, что не умеет отображать под Linux 3D в 24 разряда. Только в 32.
