Hi All!
Я тут заимел новый HDD - IBM IC35L040AVER07-0 размером 40 гиг.
Старый винт стоял на первом канале первого ide-контроллера (UDMA-33),
Новый был прицеплен на второй ide-контроллер, на небезизвестный HPT370.
Переезд состоялся благоплучно. Проблем не было. Но!!!!!
Перед переездом, был померян трансфер нового винта с помощью
hdparm -t /dev/hde, который дал результат почти 39 MB/sec.
После переезда, т.е. загрузившись уже с нового hdd:
$ hdparm -t /dev/hde
/dev/hde:
Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 3.47 seconds = 18.44 MB/sec
Wow! Что это? Почему такой трансфер стал?
Может тут чего не ладно:
$ hdparm /dev/hde
/dev/hde:
multcount = 0 (off)
I/O support = 0 (default 16-bit)
unmaskirq = 0 (off)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 0 (off)
nowerr = 0 (off)
readonly = 0 (off)
