Не знаю, есть ли в дистрибутиве средство настройки,
но если хотите разобраться, почитайте документацию в
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/bttv
По памяти могу сказать, что 'modprobe bttv' поднимает
все модули, какие нужно, даже необязательных пару.
Смотреть "кино" можно xawtv, или другой программой,
какую найдете.
