Hi All!
В общем удалось мне это дело побороть следующим образом.
Я тут решил пересобрать ядро. Взял стандартный конфиг
/usr/src/linux/configs/kernel-2.4.9-i686-up.config
исправил в нем только тип процессора: CONFIG_MPENTIUMIII=y
Пересобрал ядро. Гружусь. А поскольку в /etc/sysconfig/framebuffer
настройки оставались, то я с удивлением обнаружил, что
модуль rivafb наконец-то заработал. В общем загрузился
я в режиме 800x600-100.
Тут встала другая задачка. Начало загрузки происходит в текстовом
режиме и лишь по загрузке модуля rivafb включается этот режим.
Я решил попробовать сделать initrd.img с --preload=rivafb и
передать при загрузке ядру параметр video=rivafb:800x600@100
Сделал. Но тем не менее это не помогло. По прежнему, до самой
загрузки модулей, все происходит в текстовом режиме.
Что я не правильно делаю? И вообще это возможно сделать?
