его нет в репозитарии.
альтлинукс предлагает аналог wvdial
я просто его не пользовал и советовать не могу.
либо собрать diald из исходников - он легко собирается и настраивается.

если в иксах - средняя кнопка мыши
если в консолях - ctrl-ins shift-ins

нет. это простой способ поднять соединение. Но предполагается что этим занимается одна рука и конфликтов нема.
