Не фантастическая. Я это наблюдал довольно долго, как Linux
вырубают кнопкой питания несколько раз на дню. И так -- пока
ему не поплохеет.

ext2fs, конечно, лучше обкатана за столько-то лет. Проблемы
с приложениями не должны возникать, но тут периодически
возникали жалобы на проблемы с ней самой. Так что использовать
по-видимому её пока лучше при наличии действительной необходимости
(перебои с эл. энергией).
