Дело в том, что apt-get старается при обновлении софта отследить меняющиеся
зависимости пактеов и удалить старые или добавить новые на лету, без
самоличного поиска неисправностей и связей. Но он не всегда правильно
отрабатывает. rpm же позволит более детально вникнуть в сам процесс
усттановки, более стабильно, но зато более трудоемко, так как в этом случае
нужно отслеживать зависимости самому. Каждый решает, что важнее. На мой вкус,
rpm лучше пока.
