Это не совсем верно. Можно сохранить, а потом восстановить *.ini
файлы (или что-то другое, в чём хранятся настройки). Ключи из
реестра можно экспортировать, а потом импортировать их в реестр.
Хотя, конечно, всё это, начиная с поисков, где фактически
для данной конкретной проги находятся настройки, довольно
муторное занятие...
